The Voice of American Small Business
We champion the interests of small business owners through advocacy, education, and community — giving every entrepreneur a seat at the table.
Everything we do is built around three core commitments to America's small business community.
We represent small business interests at the federal, state, and local levels — fighting for fair tax policy, reduced regulation, and greater access to capital. When Washington debates policy, your chamber is in the room.
We spotlight member businesses through our national directory, media partnerships, and business spotlights. Your success story deserves to be heard — and we help amplify it across the country.
From mentorship and training to funding resources and legal referrals, we provide the tools and community connections every small business owner needs to survive, grow, and thrive.
Guided by experienced executives and business leaders who have walked in your shoes.
Born and raised in Merrick, New York, Todd Miranda graduated Oceanside High School in 1988 before going on to Nassau Community College and NYU's prestigious construction and real estate program. A natural entrepreneur, Todd opened his first construction franchise at just 19 years old, covering all of Long Island territory — while simultaneously earning his real estate license at 18.
By 1992, Todd had begun flipping homes in Brooklyn, launching a career that would span over 400 properties bought, renovated, and sold. His deep expertise in real estate earned him leadership roles in the profession — serving on multiple leadership and ethics boards including LIBOR, and as a Director for the New York State Association of Realtors.
In 2018, Todd's decades of business acumen and community leadership led him to assume the role of National Executive Director of the National Small Business Chamber of Commerce. A true Long Island son, Todd has also owned the iconic Salty Dog Bar & Grill in Levittown, New York, earned a Silver Glove in the New York State Golden Gloves, and is today a USA-certified boxing trainer. He serves on the Board of the Long Island Tennis Association, has coached Bethpage Soccer at the U9–U13 level, and is a co-founder of the Battered Women and Children Foundation.
